CWG 2010: YEATERDAY WAS THE MOST JOYFUL!!

It was heartening to see India winning @CWG-2010 at Delhi.

The most cheering event I witnessed yesterday was the winning of Indian Women Relay Team. It was not less than a festive moment for India as Indian runners finished the Relay Race with the Gold medal. I extend my Hearty Congratulations to Manjith Kaur, Sini Jose, Ashwini and Mandip Kaur for winning India a gold medal in Relay race after a long period of time at an International stage.

The second most surprising & cheerful result was of HOCKEY. Congratulations to the whole Indian Hockey Team to reach @grand final. I expect that The Indian team will continue their winning streak.

The third most recreating event was the Women double Badminton event. Jwala Gutta & Ashwini Punappa left no space for Australian team. Congratulation to both of them.

The whole day performance was excellent and pushed me to say “CHAK DE INDIA”.

India is going back in Economic Development- The reality!!

The economist only looks the growth figures. Every day the news papers are filled with headlines "India is emerging", "IMF projected India's growth rate @9.7% for current fiscal year", "India is going to purchase 300 third generation Aircrafts". But rarely look any news related to India's pathetic condition about Economic development. Is media no more sensitive towards common man condition? Are great Indian writers busy in covering political news? Who is really going to care about more that 400million BPL population in India?
The answers reamain uncertain.

Today as I am writing this column, I can't pride on India's growth figures. India is growing & the wealth is accumulating with richers. Millionaire is becoming billionaire and so on ..... Is common man progressing in that pace as India is growing? No.

see the news-

More hungry in India than in Sudan-
India dropped two ranks to 67th among 84 developing countries in the International Food Policy Research Institute's annual " Global Hunger Index" for 2010. Even Sudan, North Korea and Pakistan rank higher than India. While the report, released on Monday, shows that the proportion of undernourished in India is decreasing, the worsening ranking indicates that other developing countries have done better in tackling hunger. India is home to 42% of the underweight children under the age of five in the world.

The policymakers in India, who are are still fighting over the need to have an expansive National Food Security Act, should look at the following data more closely: in 2005-06, about 44% of Indian children — below five years — were underweight, and nearly half — 48% — were stunted.

An economist view- How India will outpace China in GDP Growth rate?

Today I found this very good column published by Indian Express, Lets look the authors arguments "Why & How India will outpace China in GDP Growth rate? a big question....-

India is doing  well. Its economy is expected to expand by 8.5 per cent this year. It has a long way to go before it is as rich as China — the Chinese economy is four times bigger — but its growth rate could overtake China’s by 2013, if not before. Some economists think India will grow faster than any other large country over the next 25 years. Rapid growth in a country of 1.2 billion people is exciting, to put it mildly.

There are two reasons why India will soon start to outpace China. One is demography. China’s workforce will shortly start ageing; in a few years’ time, it will start shrinking. That’s because of its one-child policy — an oppressive measure that no Indian government would get away with. Indira Gandhi tried something similar in the 1970s, when she called a state of emergency and introduced a forced-sterilisation programme. There was an uproar of protest. Democracy was restored and coercive population policies were abandoned. India is now blessed with a young and growing workforce. Its dependency ratio — the proportion of children and old people to working-age adults — is one of the best in the world and will remain so for a generation. India’s economy will benefit from this “demographic dividend”, which has powered many of Asia’s economic miracles.
The second reason for optimism is India’s much-derided democracy. The notion that democracy retards development in poor countries has gained currency in recent years. Certainly, it has its disadvantages. Elected governments bow to the demands of selfish factions and interest groups. Even the most urgent decisions are endlessly debated and delayed.

China does not have this problem. When its technocrats decide to dam a river, build a road or move a village, the dam goes up, the road goes down and the village disappears. The displaced villagers may be compensated, but they are not allowed to stand in the way of progress. China’s leaders make rational decisions that balance the needs of all citizens over the long term. This has led to rapid, sustained growth that has lifted hundreds of millions of people out of poverty. Small wonder that authoritarians everywhere cite China as their best excuse not to allow democracy just yet.

No doubt a strong central government would have given India a less chaotic Commonwealth games, but there is more to life than badminton and rhythmic gymnastics. India’s state may be weak, but its private companies are strong. Indian capitalism is driven by millions of entrepreneurs all furiously doing their own thing. Since the early 1990s, when India dismantled the “licence raj” and opened up to foreign trade, Indian business has boomed. The country now boasts legions of thriving small businesses and a fair number of world-class ones whose English-speaking bosses network confidently with the global elite. They are less dependent on state patronage than Chinese firms, and often more innovative: they have pioneered the $2,000 car, the ultra-cheap heart operation and some novel ways to make management more responsive to customers. Ideas flow easily around India, since it lacks China’s culture of secrecy and censorship.

India’s individualistic brand of capitalism may also be more robust than China’s state-directed sort. Chinese firms prosper under wise government, but bad rulers can cause far more damage in China than in India, because their powers are so much greater. If, God forbid, another Mao were to seize the reins, there would be no mechanism for getting rid of him.

The Indian government recognises the need to tackle the infrastructure crisis, and is getting better at persuading private firms to stump up the capital. But the process is slow and infected with corruption. It is hard to measure these things, but many observers think China has done a better job than India of curbing corruption, with its usual brutal methods, such as shooting people.

A big worry for India- Quick steps are needed

As today I read this news- "Half of IAF’s equipment is obsolete: Air Chief" is a big worry-point for India. Lets read the report published by Indian Express (05.10.2010)-

About half of IAF’s equipment is obsolete, Air Chief Marshal P V Naik said Monday. The startling revelation came at a time when the IAF has put an elaborate defence plan in place to protect the ongoing Commonwealth Games from possible aerial attacks.Though Naik emphasised that the Air Force was capable of defending the country from any threat, he admitted that the ‘obsolescence percentage’ would come down to 20 percent only by 2014-15.

The IAF has ordered several new weapons systems like the indigenous Akash Air Defence System and the Israeli Spyder Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MR-SAM) system for its armoury, it currently relies heavily on ageing Russian-made Pechora and OSA AK Air Defence Missiles and Shoulder-fired Igla Surface to Air Missiles (SAM).

FINALLY, DELHI DAZZLES: A spectacular show

In the end,it turned out like a perfect Indian wedding. Shrugging off all the heartburns,last-minute snafus and accompanying chaos, everything fell into place;and it left both the baraatis and the dulhanwaalahs, with huge smiles on their faces.

The next few days will tell us if the honeymoon too,if not the marriage itself, will be as successful.

A festive crowd of almost 60,000 packed the stadium and lustily cheered through the ceremony. They applauded former President A P J Abdul Kalam (who got the biggest hand),UPA chief Sonia Gandhi,Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit and other luminaries. They gave the performers a rousing reception. They stood up spontaneously and clapped and whistled for the Indian team. And,in a truly moving moment that warmed the hearts of even the most cynical, they reserved the second-biggest round of applause for the Pakistani contingent.

For them, bonds of friendship are stronger than religion

On tense Thursday afternoon, when the entire nation was glued to the television waiting for the news on high courts verdict on the Ayodhya dispute,65-year-old Izhar Siddiqui was busy talking to Mohan Swarup Sharma.Unfazed as to what the verdict would be,the two elderly residents of Dugawan,a small mohalla,in Lucknows Naka Hindola area, were into a serious discussion planning how Ram Barat would to be taken out this year.

Izhar and Mohan are best buddies since childhood and hold key positions in Sri Ramleela Raniganj Samiti, established by their ancestors in 1875,10 years before the first petition on Babri Masjid-Ramjanmabhoomi dispute was filed in Faizabad by a mahant. For the last 135 years, the samiti has been taking out Ram Barat (marriage procession of lord Ram) and conducing Ram Leela every year.Izhar is associated with the samiti for over 20 years now.He has served the samiti with utmost dedication and we never felt that he is a Muslim, said Samitis general secretary,Mohan.Izhar laughed when asked how come he is associated with Ram Leela samiti.Go into the spiritual content of every religion and you will find nothing but love and peace, hence whatever may be the Ayodhya judgment, its not going to affect us.The Ram Barat as usual will be taken out in the city on the sixth day of Navratris which fall in winters, he said.

Similarly,Muslims at Bakshi-Ka-Talab are planning to organise Ramlila before Dussehra.Masood Ahmad is the manager of the Ramlila Samiti. His father,Muzaffar Hussain, started the tradition along with his best friend,Maikulaal Yadav,in 1972.

Ive read Ram Charitmanas several times and particularly like Rams character, says Khan. The tradition continues even if Ramzan or Moharram coincides with it.The cast takes time out to offer namaz and break roza.

Lucknow is full of such examples.Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb cemented here during the period of Nawabs in the 19th century.Hindu and Muslims of Lucknow led the 1857 revolt.Wajid Ali Shah, the last Nawab of Awadh, used to perform the Krishna leela with Kathak dancers and celebrate Hindu festivals.Once Holi fell during Moharram and Hindus decided to drop the celebrations.Knowing this, the nawab organised Holi at his palace in the afternoon and mourned in the evening.

Who is real Geelani?

Who is real Geelani? What is the reality of Hurriyat leader Mr Geelani?

From last couple of months, I am hearing statements of Hurriyat leader Mr Geelani. In his each & every interview he reiterates that KASHMIR wants freedom?

Till now I couldn’t understand what type of freedom they want? Have they any idea about Kashmir's  existence for a minute without any economical support from India? Does Kashmir have enough resources to  to feed KASHMIRI PEOPLE? Do they have enough industries to provide jobs to educated people? Do they have enough security to counter terrorist infiltration? Are hurriyat leaders representative of Kashmiris?

I expect that each & every intellectual from all over the world will be answering negative to all these bunch of question.

And now the biggest question- Does Mr Geelani want a free KASHMIR to merge it with Pakistan? Minimum his speeches & his thinking shows the same.

I want to discuss this very question thoroughly. Geelani has said Kashmiris want freedom and then he gives a strange logic India, Pakistan, China and Russia will accept an independent Kashmir, so it is better Kashmir should join Pakistan. This is a subtle attempt to fulfil the Pakistani and not the Kashmiri agenda of annexation. Geelani may have a problem with "Hindu, Muslim secular India" (as he often says) and his own reasons (financial and ideological) to conspire to merge the whole of Kashmir with Pakistan, but what can Kashmiris expect from Pakistan Pakistan, a failed state. Sindh and Baluchistan are seething with discontent and what about Kashmiris in Pakistani?

If Bengali Muslims, being the demographic majority in undivided Pakistan, got nothing but blood and bullets, what can Kashmiri Muslims expect from Pakistan? There is a serious problem if this is the way the world's largest democracy deals with its own people. Indian crowd-control methods were equally harsh in Assam during the 1979-85 agitation when 130 people died in police firings in January-February 1983 in the rundown to state assembly elections. It should not be thought that India is handling differently to Kashmir. What behaviour you can expect to stone pelters? How can a mob of such kind be controlled? The whole blame should not be given to military.

There are two other things Kashmiris will have to give India credit for, much as they have every right to complain that they have usually been denied democracy.India has not tried to change the demography of the Kashmir valley as China did in Tibet and Chinese Turkestan.Bangladesh did this in the Chittagong Hill Tracts under a military dispensation by sending Muslim settlers to the tribal homeland.Indonesia did this in Aceh. The list goes on.India is perhaps the only postcolonial Third World state which did not seek a "demographic answer" to separatist challenges.

Secondly,Indian intelligence, regardless of its endless conspiracies to divide the movements, has fought shy of physically attacking leaders;it has never driven the local Kashmiri leaders to a stage they have to seek exile.Contrast this to Pakistan.Altaf Hussain and his MQM leaders are in London,as are many of the Baloch and Sindhi nationalists. The ISI has perhaps used its Taliban surrogates to hit at MQM leader Imran Farooq outside his house in the heart of London.

As a Bengali who has seen the 1971 Bangladesh liberation struggle at close quarters,i can appreciate the spirit of azadi in the Kashmir valley. It is the Bengalis who buried Jinnah's two-nation theory in the lowlying marshes and river islands of East Bengal. But Jinnah's ghost will return to haunt Kashmiris in the midst of their tehreek.Bengal and Punjab were partitioned,Kashmir was not. Now,at the peak of the tehreek, two of its non-Muslim regions,Jammu and Ladakh, will surely demand their own right of self-determination and exercise it to stay with India. And unless Pakistan accepts Azad Kashmir, how can Geelani ever expect India to do so?

The ironic truth is that many of Indian states ie. Bihar, Uttarpradesh, Orissa and north eastern states don’t have sufficient power but India in contrast trying its hard to start lot of new hydro projects to give proper power supply to the Kashmir state. India is trying hard to make Kashmir a stable and peaceful state but because of terrorist infiltration through Kasmir route to Indian state it makes very essential for the army to stay there as a watch dog for the security of the whole nation. Kashmiris should understand the real motto of Indian army and some special powers given to them.

Geelani & other Hurriyat are not working for the common interest of Kashmir but they are fighting for their own politics, name & fame and extending an illogical support to Pakistan. The real truth should be understood by young leaders.

China encircling India: Another China’s move

China encircling India: Another China’s move, New Delhi should take appropriate actions to counter China's increasing influence in S Asia

Chinas influence in Nepal, much to the chagrin of India, received a fillip on Sunday with Beijing extending its railway from Lhasa to Xigaze or Shigatse,a city in Tibet which borders Nepal,India and Bhutan. This is the first step taken by China to extend its rail link till-Nepal border.
As per Indian officials, this rail link till the Nepal border reduces Kathmandus dependence on India as it will enable them to import petroleum products from Beijing.Pictures posted on the internet by tourists show work on this railroad may already have begun.
Strategic affairs expert Chellaney believes the extension of railway and the highaltitude airports in Tibet is to be seen in context of PLA Dailys report that the railroad to Tibet is used to supply combat readiness material to their air force.China is now in a position to move additional forces to the border to potentially strike India. The way for India to respond is to shore up its conventional and nuclear deterrent capabilities, he said.

Nepal PM Madhav Kumar Nepal had urged China in October to extend the Beijing-Lhasa rail saying that it would take economic ties between Nepal and China to a new height. In return, Nepal assured China that they would not allow anti-China activity.

GUESS WHO HOLDS THE INDIA’S HAND AT TROUBLE TIME

GUESS WHO HOLDS THE INDIA’S HAND AT TROUBLE TIME, THANKS PAK!!

The Malaysian and Botswanian teams today joined the ranks of those complaining against the state of affairs in the Commonwealth Games Village, while the South African envoy cried “a threat to the lives of athletes” after a snake was found in one of the rooms allotted to the country’s sportspersons.
However, there was good news on at least one front for the beleaguered Commonwealth Games officials: Pakistan. Not only have officials from the country given a thumbs-up to the arrangements and security preparedness for the Games, but also accused “Westerners” of being overly critical.
“We have been given complete assurance by the organisers and our security liaison officer is in India at the moment. We trust the Indian government to provide full protection, and we have no security concerns. Hopefully our entire 75-member contingent will be in India on the 29th as planned,” Pakistan Olympic Association president Syed Arif Hasan told The Indian Express on Sunday.

Finally Curtain falldown: India third most powerful nation

Report-  Times of India, dated- 21.09.2010

India is listed as the third most powerful country in the world after the US and China and the fourth most powerful bloc after the US, China and the European Union in a new official US report.

The new global power line-up for 2010 also predicted that New Delhi's clout in the world will further rise by 2025, according to "Global Governance 2025" jointly issued by the National Intelligence Council (NIC) of the US and the European Union's Institute for Security Studies (EUISS).

Using the insights of a host of experts from Brazil, Russia, India and China, among others, and fictionalised scenarios, the report illustrates what could happen over the next 25 years in terms of global governance.

In 2010, the US tops the list of powerful countries/regions, accounting for nearly 22 percent of the global power.

The US is followed by China with European Union at 16 percent and India at eight percent. India is followed by Japan, Russia and Brazil with less than five percent each.

According to this international futures model, by 2025 the power of the US, EU, Japan and Russia will decline while that of China, India and Brazil will increase, even though there will be no change in this listing.

By 2025, the US will still be the most powerful country of the world, but it will have a little over 18 percent of the global power.

The US will be closely followed by China with 16 percent, European Union with 14 percent and India with 10 per cent.

"The growing number of issues on the international agenda, and their complexity, is outpacing the ability of international organisations and national governments to cope," the report warns.

This critical turning point includes issues of climate change, ethnic and regional conflicts, new technology, and the managing of natural resources.

The report also highlights the challenges proponents of effective global governance face.

On one hand, rapid globalization, economic and otherwise, has led to an intertwining of domestic politics and international issues and fuelled the need for more cooperation and more effective leadership.

Ayodhya Verdict: No Riots on Indian Soil.

Daily in print media (Newspapers) & in News channels, some news of scheduled verdict on 24th Sept 2010 on Ayodhya by Lucknow High court bench is visible. Many newspapers are predicting horrible condition after the verdict. Many are claiming that the result will be no longer effective as anyone of the Hindu & Muslim will approach the SC against the result.

All India transport association has already decided to suspend its services from 22nd to 29th (one week). Many of the schools will be shut for that duration. Industries will be closed as workers & staff fear to come out as curfew situation may prevail. A chaotic condition will prevail.

What will be the end-result?

This is not only going to hamper India’s economy but will affect Hindu-Muslim relations for so many years to come. India is rising & we are facing a tough completion from other Asian nations ie China, Korea & Japan. The clashes, riots and Hindu-Muslim divide will not only deteriorate our harmonious social structure but also affect our economy significantly. Pakistan supported militant groups want the same thing and awaiting for a mass destructive riots which will help them to fulfil their aspirations.

Historical background-

Hindu-Muslim has a great relations in India. Inspit of their minor clashes, we have a quite harmonious and symphonic environment. Hostorical background is the testimony of our great relations when both the communities worked together to ousted the foreign rulers. We fought against many evils and social iniquities. We fought together in many wars against our neighbouring nations. We helped each others in many floods, natural calamities and forged an Indian bond in place of a particular religion. We both worked together to make India rise in economical terms.

Now, what to do?

Now when Ayodhya verdict has to come in a legal perspective we have to follow the legal judgement and avoid to create any such disturbance which is going to affect our social values and our National dignity. We have to rise from a particular religion biased to have a feeling to be an active part of Indian Nationality and a great force behind its success.

We have to crush those forces which are going to affect our national integrity and in the name of religion going to divide our harmonious social structure.

Amarnath Yatra 2010 : Well done Kashmir !

Inspite of violence and strikes @Kashmir, the real kashmiriat was seen during this year's AMARNATH CAVE YATRA. According 2 sources ,more than 4.5 lakhs people from all over the India visited cave this year within 45 days yatra and not a single casualty was seen this year. It is really laudable and can be said the biggest success for not only Kashmir govt but also Indian central govt.

After many decades I am happy to see the headlines from THE HINDU-  "Not a single untoward incident took place this year, despite the ongoing disturbances in Kashmir. Local residents made sure no pilgrims were harmed." It shows the real Kashmiriat and respect for AMARNATH YATRA in local citizens.

I should applause the central security for the pilgrims. According to newspaper, over 5000 CRPF, BSF and Army personnel deployed right from Jammu to the cave, along both the Baltal and Pahalgam routes, provided tight security for the pilgrims.

Well done Kashmir and Indian central se   curity force.

Hindu Terrorism : Harmful for India.

The emergence of hard extremist in the name of Hindutva is shame for Hindu society and to the nation. The so called Hindu community in all over the world is considered world’s one of the most calm and religious community but the proof of hard extremist Hindu leaders involvement in some recent blasts in India are no more healthy and right signs for it and the majority of its hindu population. It condition looks some more serious when some respected leaders in India are harboring such heinous criminals.

From the ancient times Hindu thoughts and activities are involved for the constructive measures where there is no role for terror and violence. Hindu mythology involves Brahmcharya, Grihastha, Vanprastha & Sanyas ashrams where in each and every stage the calmness, spirituality, harmony, wellness and equality of all living beings is advocated. Our great saints and gurus have advocated the path of non-violence and to follow the Dharma in ones entire life. The hindu mythology also advocates to give equal respect to all religions and communities in & around the world. Our all religious festivals, rituals and our faith always advocates the unity of human being, the equality of human being and doesn’t allow any violence and any terror.

But the recent emerging facts within such a oldest and world’s one of the strengthen community is no more representing the face of Hindu thoughts and their deeds. It can’t represent a solely responsible and a sacred religion. These hard extremist faces are even the enemy of this whole hindu community.

Now its time for government and all the responsible citizens in and around India to fight from such hardcore and should treat them as the criminals and terrorists against the nation.

Uttarpradesh : Is state having any development path?

I applause the effort put by union coal minister Shri Prakash Jaiswal to expedite the process for establishing two coal based power plants in Uttarpradesh. Today this highest populated Indian state is facing the power supply as the biggest acute problem. The continuous state government’s negligence has kept the state in the most chaotic condition. Today no major industries are getting attracted towards this state simply because there is no proper electricity supply. In summer season the whole state faces the brunt of heat & each year the state government gives the assurance of proper power supply to aam-adami but forgets theses assurance in the temper of ruling government.

Recently all the newspapers printed the news that state owned power major NTPC rejected a plan to establish a power plant near to Jhansi & Lalitpur simply because state ruling government (BSP) denied to provide required land. When the competition is very tough between states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu etc to trap the power projects to laydown the progress path of their states, Uttarpradesh continuously neglecting all these basic requirement and boasting to have a pro-aam adami government. Navinpatanaik, CM, Orissa is running around PM and planning commission in New-delhi to clear the proposed POSCO, VEDANTA projects which will not only generate a huge employment to his state but also help to urbanize the poor and backward areas. But Uttarpradesh ruling government is no-more interested in such moves and want to make the growth & progress of state through day dreaming ideas.

Today when central planning commission has planned to add around 1 lakh megawatt more power generation capacity up to 2020, the 2% participation in power generation capacity of Uttarpradesh gives a very dull & muted planning of the ruling government . Today the state shares around 17% national population which will reach to around 20% by 2020 and at that time power generation capacity share of the state will be less than 5%. All these statistics can be said that the ruling government is pushing to state towards a dull, non-progressive and obtuse future condition.

When the Bihar state, ranked one of the least developed states in planning commission’s 2007 report, is achieving the exponential growth under ruling CM Nitish Kumar government through a well and designed planning , it makes an essential need for the Uttarpradesh government to take some long term decisions which are very essential for the growth and development of state. As India is passing through a transition state and going to become amongst the major economies of the world in next two decades. A lot of FDI is attracted by Gujarat, Maharahtra, Orissa, Chhattisgrah, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhra etc to strengthen their infrastructure to ascertain to match the international requirement, it makes very important for Uttarpradesh government to work on power projects which are the back bone of infrastructure development otherwise the state will be far-far behind than other states.

My RAMESWARAM Trip

Recently (21.08.10) I got a chance to have a trip to the holiest place SHRI RAMESWARAM situated in Tamilnadu's pamban island (Rameswaram island). It was my great wish from a long time to have a tour to this historical and vey holly place as I am living in Tamilnadu itself from last one year. I do believe on the hindu mythology that whenever God will be pleased to u, automatically somehow u will get chance to travel that place. I am really happy and feeling proud to have a trip to such place where SHRI RAMCHANDRA built a bridge to cross the sea to reach the lanka in search of his wife MATA SEETA from her abductor Ravan. Shri Rama is said to have offered worship at a pre-chosen auspicious moment to a SHIVALINGAM fashioned out of earth by MATA SITA. This lingam is referred to as RAMALINGAM and thats why town is known as RAMESWARAM.

I am proud to see such a magnificient temple. It is believed to be amongst 12 Jyotirlingas based on Hindu vedical system and considered as the southermost teertha. As I studied in Banaras Hindu Univeristy and there only I learned and started loving worship of SHRI SHIVA, the trip added one more count in my bug trips whom I will always remember.
From Trichy to Rameswaram, I reached through train and reached RAMESWARAM early morning. It was heavily raining and there was no auto or bus infront of the railway gate. As many people were going by walk, I  also started amidst such a hevay rain. Within 5 min walk I got an autowala having 2 persons in his auto and requested him to take me to the temple. Within 5 min I was infront of the temple and curiously looking such a marvelous creation. Soon I found a locker room where after keeping all my luggage I left for sea bath (traditional bath before the temple darshn). It was very exciting to have a chilled bath when the water was quite salty and 3-4 times I drank that water to test. I dont know but every moment was looking very exciting and cheerful. From there in wet clothes only I reached infront of the tepmle and found a big que for taking bath from the water of  22 wells around the temple. It is considered as very auspicious and after that only one is allowed to have darshan to SHRI RAMNATHSWAMY (BHAGVAN SHIVA). I realized that the waters of all the wells was not ony quite different in temperature but also in taste. I dont know but it really looks amazing and God gifted quality. It took aorund 1 and half hours to have a bath from all the 22 wells. Then I proceeded for darshan.

After darshan I was very hungry and came to Hotel Abhiramy where tasted Idly and hot coffee. I dont know why but during all the time I was feeling very calm, very happy and energetic, it was somekind of inner happiness whom I can't define by words.
I thank to GOD who offred me to have a trip to such a holy, hisotrical, natural and geographically important place.
Her Her Mahadev.......baba Vishwanath Ki jai.........baba Ramnathswamy ki jai......jai Narmdeswar baba.

What is the real need in Kashmir?

I think  the recent condition of the valley pushes me to think "Is India failing in Kashmir? Are Kashmiri's losing their interest towards Omar led govt? Is separatists and free Kashmir voice is going to win?"
The answer doesn't look simple. Within around one month  4-5 times curfew was imposed due to different mishaps in different part of the velley. As claimedd by media, mjor deaths took place due to security firing and suddenly the security forces came under scanner and a lot of things published against the force attitude. But none of them thought about the ruling govt and the real plight of kashmiris. The innocent kashmiris have become the toy of separatist and state govt. Each time the kashmiris are given the assurance of development,  industrialization and implementation of job creation programs but these assurance never takes place a real shape. The big question here arises, Is state givt failing or separatist doesn't really want the development of the valley sothat they can play the politics and behind the scene they can get the sympathy of innocent kashmiris?
The history and the activities in last some years has shown the tendency that kashmiris are no longer willing to suffer a stage of playground for pakistan & India and now they really want to come to main stream and want to live a standard and joyfull life. They really want to include themselves in the mainstream of development in todays globalised world.
The majority of people in Kashmir appear tired of the two decade old violence, involving militants and Indian troops, which has declined significantly — with almost no major attacks in the main city of Srinagar for more than a year now.
The recent curfew imposition and the mishaps can be said the failure of union as well as state govt. The youth is boiled now and it makes an essential need for the union govt of India to take some positive steps for the gowth, development of the valley. The youth should be properly assured that they wil not be excluded from the participation of India's growth. The real steps will be taken now.
Indian govt should also come forward to take some more steps to join themselves from the real mass instead of separatists leaders. The reality is that separatisits and hurriyats want the riots, mishaps sothat their politics and their fame can be used for states programs. Its time for the young youths also to understand the reality and to work according to their real heart.

Bhopal tragedy

"In India the justice is not only delayed but its delivered improperly."

Jharkhand: the worst politics I hav ever witnessed

This resourceful state is paying the cost of having illiterate & unconscious politicians who don't think about state or nation. They are not looking the poverty, unemployment, naxalism which is continuously increasing, people in their own state are suffering from proper transportation, rehabilitation, medical facilities, education, food security & public distribution system but no.......everyone wants the chair of minister.
Although I have a great interest towards national & international political news but I think i have witnessed a worst politics ever in jharkhand. I always supported the small states where proper administration & better national & state welfare policies can be implemented but to see the state of Jharkhand my own arguments look opposite to me.

Now its the turn of people of the states who have to decide. The big game of Shibu Soren should be over which is the only way to give a good governance to the state & will pave the path of growth which Uttarakhand & Chhattisgarh are witnessing today.

UPA govt is making too late to take tough action against Naxalites.

Around 2 months hav passed of Dantewada Massacre & still UPA govt is busy to decide any action against Naxalites......I think that naxalites hav shown their aim  which reflects violence & terror. The innocent civilians and police forces are paying their lifes in every attack & govt is still sleeping.......
whtever be the success of UPA govt in economic field but they are completely failed to provide a terror free sleep to the central eastern states. They are busy to play the worst politics ever....... although I don't support violence or war but also believes on tit for tat.

KHAP PANCHAYAT, A Big Q: Is it right for Indian Traditional Society?

These days daily in the newspapers &  in the many news channels I m hearing this big questions- whether KHAP PANCHAYATS shud be eligible to take decisions on marriage?
If I know correctly,  this very issue came after honour killing @Haryana. I think its a quite difficult to take any decision for Indian society where more than 60% population lives in villages & a big part of that population believes on different customs, caste & religious traditions.

This very issue is somewhat deeper & according to khap panchayats- even inside the caste, the same gotras shud not be allowed to marry.

Although I believe that these KHAP PANCHAYATS are very important as they work for rural judiciary and solve so many disputes which most probably can't be solved by courts within such a short span of time. But I also believe that KHAP PANCHAYATS do not have right to give fatwa type decisions in marriages. Its violation of some one's fundamental right which allows them to get association on mutual agreement & get married.

I think that our Indian tradition from the ancient time supported the lovers and there are galore of marriages which were inter caste & inter religion. Yes its true that today we are losing our Indian culture but I think that if people are getting more freedom for marriage and association it shud be considered as a progress for society & its a new path which is the most suitable for new younger generation.

Although its little ironic but KHAP PANCHAYATS should chose someother dovelopment issues beyond marriage. They shud not be very rigid on thousand of years old tradition which needs a reformation now. Now we have crossed the 1 billion population where I think gotras dont have any more value.
Haryana is the very state where sex ratio is the lowest in India & they shud think that this is the very effect of these KHAP PANCHAYATS. Yes we need to preserve our old traditions but we shud also omit some evil things which are existing in the society which sopts our progress path & our peace.

Manglore Plane Crash

On 22nd morning as I was getting ready for the Jindal site office & car was supposed to reach hotel @9.00am. I just switched on the TV & came to NDTV news channel. I was shocked to see the news that AIR INDIA flight from dubai to manglore, carrying 170 people got crashed @manglore airport during runway & there is very grim condition to reach the accident place & to start the rescue work. Later I got the news that 7 people were saved & around 160 people died.

I console the families who suffered this tragic disaster & pray to god to give them strength to bear this grief.
I hope that immediate steps are taken to provide relief to the survivors.

PERZANIA: opening truth.

Today after a long time I found time to see a movie. Fortunately I got a Hindi one through my friend at hostel. Movie is  PERZANIA, a 2007 released bollywood movie directed by RAHUL DHOLAKIA. Movie is not only sensational but putforth some serious issues quoted by the director. I don't know whether the movie's background is right in perspective of GUJARAT RIOTS & a Hindu-Muslim blood game but if it is right I not only criticise the HINDU EXTREMIST but these organizations are shame for the India & the whole national humanity. The state which gave us the great Indian leaders from ancient time to today in which GANDHI JI, SARDAR PATEL, INDULALA YAGNIK and later MORAR JI DESAI, TATA FAMILY, RAVISHANKER MAHRAJ can be figured out as international personalities who gave the nation तो pride. But its unfortunate to see such riots are taking place invoked by HINDU EXTREMIST organization . They should understand that India is not only the nation of HINDUs but its of all religions ie HINDU, MUSLIM, SIKH, PARSI & CHRISTIANS. We all fought for India's freedom from EUROPEAN COLONISATION. Our freedom fighters made no difference between any community & they fought together, they lived together and they saved each other time to time.
I criticise such incidents & hope that in future there will be no such religious basis riots in any part of the India. We are a secular country and we hould humbly follow our constitutional rules & regulations.
I am a firm believer of 'Hindu Cultural Nationalism'. In my view Indian National Interest is the 'supreme most' than any thing or any person and our interest lies that we give respect to all religions equally and there should not be any repetition of such horror incidents for which the whole world blame the nation.

Its a shame for Human Civilization

Day before yesterday I found this award winning pic. I am completely shocked to imagine that this can be the condition of any part of the world. Is a shame for such a modern Human civilization where children are facing such a grievance problem. Its a shame for the capitalists world which just look the money and ignore such things.

MNREGA: A successful Union Govt employment generation program

A group of Women working at place in Rajasthan

This act was introduced with an aim of improving the purchasing power of the rural people, primarily semi or un-skilled work to people living in rural India, whether or not they are below the poverty line. Around one-third of the stipulated work force is women.
One of the most distinguishing features of the MNREGA is its approach towards empowering citizens to play an active role in the implementation of employment guarantee schemes, through gram sabhas, social audit, participatory planning and other activities.

The govt. has to continuously ensure that the implementation should be very proper sothat the needful would be beneficiated.

Uttarpradesh: Paper leak is a routine affair here

Uttarpradesh has become the home of MAFIAs today and neither Universities nor state govt care about it. Almost every year scores of paper solvers and impostors are caught in entrance examinations of professional courses and board examinations of class X & XII.

Police catch smaller fishes. But after initial action, hardly anything is done to reach the mastermind. As a result, lakhs of students suffer almost every alternate year due to various admission scandals. The education mafia, which runs the seat-fixing racket and is involved in leakages continues to operate with impunity.

Question paper leak of entrance tests and competitive examinations has almost become a routine affair in the state...... when Union Ministry is trying for so many education reforms sothat standard of education in India can be raised & we can match with the western universities. Then such incidents raise the questions on the credibility of Univerisiy administration as well as state education department. In the end the aam adami is suffering...... when the Uttarpradesh will be free from such scandals?

Who makes his house here?

Today I saw these pics, Is it not quite surprising to see these houses & a shop at a hill road. But it shows that how much they love their mother-land. Their ancestors were living here like this & today they are continuing the same trend although its too risky.

Time Magazine: India's Glory

Its a matter of pride when India's 9 persons placed their names in world's 100 most influential people.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, great economist Amartya Sen, Eye specialist Perumalsamy Namperumalsam, humanitarian worker Sanjit Buker Roy, writer Chetan Bhagat, Indian-America doctor and Harvard professor Atul Gwande, paramedic from Toronto Rahul Singh and entrepreneur Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw are among nine Indians figuring in Time magazine's annual list of 100 most influential people.

About our PM the magazine quotes:
The long history of India boasts many great leaders. But the much shorter history of Indian democracy is already creating its own heroes, and Manmohan Singh, 77, is one of them.

About cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, the magazine quotes like this:
To millions of Indians and countless fans around the world, this act, which caps a career of record-breaking feats, arouses a sense of awe.

The best part which I liked to see Chetan Bhagat in the list.

Shayari: some of my choices

Today one of my friend sent me some shayaris. After a long time it look like I am in a kavi sammelan. Some of them I am writing here.

yaadon mein kabhee aap bhi khoye honge,
khulee aankon se kabhee aap bhi soye honge,
mana hasna hai aadat gum chupane ki,
par haste-haste kabhee aap bhi roye honge!!!

zindagi kisi ki amaanat nahi hoti,
jannat mein kabhi qayamat nahi hoti,
dil bohot sochkar lagana ae dost
ishq ki qaid mein kabhi zamanat nahi hoti!!

Daad chahta hun janaab....

DIN DHAL GAYA, AA GAYI RAAT
AB KAB TUM DIYA BUJHAOGE
KAB TAK APNI SHAYARI K ZEHER SE
HUM MAASOOMO KA DIL JALAOGE

Bekhudi ki zindagi hum jiya nahin karte
Jaam dusro se cheen kar hum piya nahin karte
Unko mohabbat hai to aa kar izhaar karein
Pichaa hum kisi ka kiya nahin karte

Royege yeh ankhe muskurane ke baad
ayege raat din dhal jane ke baad
kabi roothna na mujh se aye dost !
shayad yeh zindagi na rahe tere rooth jane ke baad

kuchh tabiyat hi mili thi aisi
chain se jeene ki surat na hui
jisko chaaha usey apnaa na sakey
jo mila us se mohabbat na hui

wahh wahaaa......plz kehte jayiye.

Mujhe to ye sun ke FANAA ki yad aa gayi.

Lucknow BEd exam 2010: now real TAMASHA started!

As I wrote earlier in my blog that it would be no surprise for me if anyone of left students goes to High court against Universitys' anomalies towards conducting the exam. Today it came in the news paper, now a real TAMASHA will start & the result of the whole exam will be hanged for next some years.....why these kind of things are most evident in Uttarpradesh Universities? Why govt don't take action against responsible officials sothat such incidents/anomalies don't occur in future? Does UP govt is similarly responsible for repetition of such incidents? I think that Univeristies have come in a habit to play with the future of students here.

Lucknow University: BEd exam, university made it a mockery!

Such type of incidents either happens in Kanpur university or lucknow university. The administration in these universities is so lethargy & undeservising (for that post) that they can't handle even a single state level exam. The recent drama in BEd exam minimum tells the story like this only.
The 2009-10 BEd exam is going to be conducted by Lucknow University this time. The university 1st allowed all the students having more than 45% marks in graduation to sit in the exam. Around more than 5 lakhs students from the state filled the forms. But now barely 1 week ago of exam, the university took a U Turn and announced that only students having more than 50%marks can sit in exam. A great tussle is going on b/w university authority, state govt & NCTI.
The University's authority can be so ameture and so negligible to conduct an exam, the recent example is one of the biggest. Now the UP Govt and the university administration is playing football with the so serious issue.

Bythway the university administration has once again made a mockery of such an old & famous varsity by shwoing its black face. It will be no surprise for me that someone from around 1.75 lakhs student to go to court & the whole exam will be hanged for next 1-2 years. Then the future of around 5 lakhs students will be hanging for so many years from such a mistake of the university administration. Also the left students deserve for the compensation from university administration for playing with their future and sentiments. The VC should resign by taking the moral responsibility.

Bhutan: now came on international attention. Although late but a big step for the nation!

In the eastern side of Indian territory, touching to sikkim and arunanchalpradesh the small nation is known as BHUTAN whose capital is Thimphu.
The hosting SAARC summit is Bhutan's baby-step on the international stage. Around all newspapers printed this news recently on its main page in all over the world. The country has just gone through an amazing political transformation. In a first in the world, Bhutan's king Jigme Khesar forced democracy on his people by holding an election.
For Bhutan, the execution of the event is no less than New Delhi's efforts to host the Commonwealth Games. For a country with a some lacks strong population, this is really a big leap forward.
India and Bhutan's relations are steady and strong. Bhutan's major income is from hydropower. The administration is so dynamic that it has invested wisely, with generous help from India, in the power sector. The Chhukha hydropower project sells its output to India. The energy trade is a win-win situation for both countries.

I wish that this small nation emerge fast to assist & to associate the Indian nation in different useful activities.
